From Riding in the Farmyard to a Career in Trials. Growing Up on Two Wheels and Building a Community Around the Sport.

I started riding in the farmyard as a kid, just playing around, trying new things, and learning by doing. Since then, I’ve kept riding every chance I get, and I’ve been lucky to turn that early passion into a way of life. Growing up, I’ve had the opportunity to represent my country and win multiple UCI Youth Games titles, as well as several BIU World Championships — milestones that motivate me to keep progressing and give back to the sport.

I’ve always tried to evolve my riding by trusting my instincts rather than following the norm. That approach has helped me develop a unique riding style that’s influenced the way trials is ridden and judged at a global level — both in videos and in competition. It’s one of the reasons why people say it’s exciting to watch me ride: it’s never predictable.

For several years, I competed at the highest level on a 20” bike: travelling the world, earning podiums, and consistently fighting for the win in the most important international competitions. It’s where I built my reputation and grew as a rider, season after season.

But after the 2023 season, I decided to try something different. I jumped on a 26” bike — not with any big plan, just to see how it felt. From the first ride, I knew something had changed. The connection was instant, and I realised straight away there was no going back. In 2024, I made the full switch to 26”, and started my first season in the new category. It didn’t take long to settle in, by the end of the year, I had reached the top of the UCI World Ranking and won the UCI World Cup Series.

It was a big shift, but one that reminded me how important it is to evolve, trust your instinct, and keep challenging yourself — even when things are going well.

Pushing the Sport Forward, Creating Community

Bike Trial Academy UK, a place to learn how to enjoy the sport

Together with my family, we started Bike Trial Academy UK — a family-run project dedicated to sharing our experience and growing the trials community in the UK and beyond. It’s about more than just skills; it’s about inspiring new riders, creating a space where everyone feels welcome, and spreading the love for this unique sport.

The goal is simple: enjoy the process, keep learning, and help others do the same.

Social Media as a tool to promote the sport

I’ve focused on using content to help grow the sport and make it more accessible to riders everywhere. Through my YouTube channel and Patreon, I share what I’ve learned over the years — from training tips and technique breakdowns to behind-the-scenes footage and insights into life as a professional trials rider.

It’s all about sharing experiences, opening up the sport, and creating something valuable beyond the competitions.
